How Lever works

Short lessons that teach you one money idea at a time, and make sure it sticks.

Learn it, answer it, get it

Each lesson takes about two minutes. You learn one idea, with the math worked out in front of you. Then you answer a question that uses it, and Lever explains the answer, including why the wrong ones seemed right.

A path that fits you

A few questions at the start tell Lever what you care about, and your path puts the most useful lessons first. Stuck on a question? Lever stops for a quick refresher on the idea underneath, then you try again. Already know a topic? Pass its test and skip that module.

Mistakes are part of learning

A wrong answer uses a little focus, and focus refills on its own while you take a break. So go ahead and guess.

Your money, your country

Amounts show up in your own currency. Tax and pension facts for 81 countries come from reputable, confirmed sources, each with the date we checked. If we don’t cover yours yet, we’ll tell you.

We teach. We don’t sell.

Lever shows you the tools and how they work. It never sells you a financial product, never recommends a broker and never takes a commission. What you do with your money is your call. Here are our four promises.
